WASREB fraternity welcomed the new Acting Chief Executive Officer Thursday. Joseph K. Keter ‘ndc’ K is the immediate former Secretary Administration at the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation. He takes over from Eng. Peter Njaggah, Director Licensing, Standards and Advocacy, whose acting tenure in the position ended December. Mr. Keter was deployed by CS MWSI to oversee recruitment of a substantive Chief Executive Officer among others duties. In his maiden speech to staff, he called for commitment and close collaboration to ensure the Regulator scales higher heights in execution of it’s mandate. He underscored his commitment to the Rapid Results Initiative (5th Wave) by the Ministry where all agencies have targets to accomplish to improve the water sector. Mr. Keter has over 30 years field administration experience having worked in the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, rising from a District Officer to County Commissioner. Earlier the Ag. CEO held meetings with Board of Directors and Top Management.
