The Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) regulates the water services sector as established under the Water Act 2016. In particular, WASREB ensures the provision of efficient, affordable, quality and sustainable water services. Consumer protection is an integral part of this service provision which however must be balanced with the need for viability and sustainability over the long term within the human rights framework as articulated in the Constitution of Kenya 2010 (CoK 2010).
In compliance with Sections 57 and 71 of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act,2015 , WASREB invites Suppliers who are Technically and Financially capable for Supply of Goods, Works and Services as listed below for the Financial years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.
There are two categories:
Category 1-9: Reserved for Youth, Women and Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs)
Category 10-25: Catergorized as ‘OPEN TO ALL’ for all suppliers who meet the evaluation criteria as indicated in the prequalification documents.
